What's new on 1. 9. 2012 – Green and Sustainable Race

The HKDRC 35th Hong Kong Green Half Marathon and 10K Run – 4 November 2012

As of 31 August, over 850 participants of which, 700 for the Green Half Marathon and 150 for the 10K Run are registered. The entry quotas are up to 70% & 50% full.
You've got only 2 months for submission of entry applications.

Among the registered applicants, elite runners including foreign runners Darren Benson, Tim Youngs, Elaine Hall, Kristen Lamb and others are already on list. Whereas local runners Lai Kat, Wong Ka Wai, Li Kin Wo, Chan Lai Fong and Ida Chan and runners from Shenzhen such as Chang Po and Karin Holzschuher are also on list.

For team competition, the 10th Sea Scout is the first team signed up for participation. Since our event accepts applications up to the date of the event, we anticipate more and more foreign and local and team runners will join the race.

The souvenirs ( 7 items ) that we will distribute are Green and Sustainable including T-shirt, towel, foldable water bottle, solar torch, organic vegetable, finisher medal and biodegradable gift bag. An extra gift is reserved for applicant who submits corrected answers to our Low Carbon quiz with the entry applications.

Certificate for Hong Kong Green Runner 2012 with your finished position and time duly endorsed by us and the sponsors can be issued upon request.

**To enable participants in Urban Districts such as Tung Chung, Sha Tau Kok, Shenzhen and Outer Islands, to catch up our buses, we will arrange for delaying the departure time of one bus at each station by 10mins.

2012年9月1日 – 最新消息 ：綠色及可持續發展的綠色賽事

香香港長跑會第35屆綠色( 大尾篤 )半馬拉松及10公里 ( 2012年11月4日 ) 現已接受報名。

截至8月31日，報名參賽運動員反應熱烈，已登記超過850名參賽者，當中700名參加綠色半馬拉松及150名參加10公里跑，參賽名額達到70%及50%。報名參賽時間只剩餘2個月，有興趣報名參賽的運動員不應猶豫，立刻行動。

從 參賽者名單內，已登記的優秀外籍運動員包括Darren Benson，Tim Youngs，Elaine Hall，Kristen Lamb及其他，而本地優秀運動員有賴吉，黃家偉，李健和，陳麗芳，Ida Chan. 來自深圳亦有昌普，Karin Holzchuher。至於隊際方面，第一隊5人隊是” 北葵涌第10旅 –
海軍團。由於本會接受截止報名日期後仍希望報名參賽運動員及隊伍，估計仍有大量有興趣長跑運動員報名參賽。

本 會將派發給每位完賽者可持續及重用紀念品7項包括T恤，毛巾，可摺疊水壺，太陽能電筒，獎牌，有機蔬菜及高溶解度禮物袋。同時亦提供免費巴士服務接載參賽 者往返賽場及巴士站。鼓勵參賽者於遞交報名表同時回答低碳問卷可獲額外環保紀念品如幸運草，或太陽能電筒，或跑步計時器。

應參賽者要求，本會將發給每位完賽者成績證書，認可為 “ 香港綠色運動員 “。

**本會為方便居住遠離市區 ( 如東涌，沙頭角，深圳及離島 ) 參賽者趕及乘坐賽會的巴士，將安排於各個巴士站一部巴士延遲10分鐘開出。
